I can’t believe I have a 12 year old! Brooklyn grew up way too fast. She is such a mature little lady lately. I love our deep talks and grown up conversations. I can talk to her about anything and she gets it now. I love it! It’s like having a best friend living with me. She is so much like me it’s scary. I am so proud of her and all that she is becoming…my little young woman. Here’s a photo I took of her on her Birthday.
I rarely let her have friend Birthday parties because her Birthday is in December when it’s crazy busy for everyone. But this year she is all about her friends and it’s what she reeeeaaaalllly wanted. So, we arranged with one of her favorite stores in the mall (called Bodacious) a girly night at their store. It’s a soap store where everything looks edible and smells delicious! They have a facial treatment bar where you can choose from about 10 different scrubs and masks. They did hand treatments on all the girls and each girl got to choose her own fragrance and color for a custom made lotion to take home with them. There was over 200 different smells and colors they could choose from! They were in heaven testing everything from “Justin Beber” scents to grape soda. Then the staff mixed it up right in front of them and put their names on their one of a kind lotion. They had a blast and I went a little crazy taking pics of all the amazing soap displays in the store. Although non of the displays were edible, everything looked so delicious and fun.
